I had been looking for a handbag to hold everything I needed on my daily commute to work as, for months, I had been taking two bags on the train, which was getting ridiculous.
When I saw the Tabitha Quinny bag on the Handbags and Gladrags website, I fell in love with the fact that it was a good size, a classic shape, practical and really feminine.
It really is an amazing bag; the lining - geometric circles in pretty shades of brown, green and blue - is striking, and there are plenty of pockets for my purse, ipod and mobile phone.
I can carry a bottle of water, a book, pad and pen, cardigan and even my sandwiches!
The bag fits snugly under my arm and the straps can be made shorter for carrying like a conventional hand-held handbag.
Originally I had wanted the soft, girlie pink but in the end I chose classic brown - with pretty pink stitching all round - because I felt it would go with more of my outfits.
As well as a great commuter bag, it was perfect as an in-flight bag for my trip to Australia.
This Quinny bag is well-travelled!
