It's London Fashion Week again which means the style elite descended on the capital to check out what's hot in the world of fashion design.
Top designers from Burberry to Vivienne Westwood showcased their grandest of designs for the eager audiences which included tennis aces Andy Murray and Serena Williams plus style sensations Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung and Cat Deeley.
We followed the ups and downs of London Fashion Week closely and have chosen our very own catwalk collection of some of the hottest designer handbags worthy or a trip down our style catwalk.
First down the runway is the simple and stylish Baibella Matilda Large Shopper in White Patent Leather. Julian MacDonald’s ready to wear collection focused on crisp white clothing in gorgeous cuts and fabrics which exuded elegance.
The white Baibella bag encapsulates this trend perfectly which is why it’s made our runway winner’s list and better yet, this designer handbag goes with just about anything.
In second place is the new in stock Penelope and Parker Tabitha Laptop Bag in antique brown crocodile which complements Betty Jackson’s Fashion Week collection perfectly.
Betty Jackson is renowned for creating vintage style garments and her latest collection was no exception as it featured fashion inspired by the 1940s.
The boxy design and classic good looks of this Penelope and Parker laptop bag ensure that it’s a real winner for this season and the next.
Add some fun to your work wardrobe by wearing this beautiful designer handbag with a 1940s style two piece skirt-suit for a unique vintage look.
Third down the catwalk is the delightful Oufi Dita Tan Leather Satchel.
The classic design of this satchel has been extremely popular with top designers this year so Oufi lookalikes made more than one appearance at this London Fashion Week.
The ready to wear collection from Mulberry featured very similar style satchels which were worn with chic summer dresses and skirts which fell tastefully just above the knee.
This satchel is a great investment piece as it can go with everything from summer florals and shorts to winter woollies and jeans.
Burberry offered up a gorgeous collection of palm sized handbags which could be worn as a clutch or as a delicate shoulder bag and these are number four down the catwalk.
In a myriad of colours ranging from acid green to deep purple, these cute handbags stole the show at Fashion Week and complemented Burberry’s clothing designs perfectly. The collection also features handbags with woven detailing in more muted gold and browns in luxurious fabrics such as snakeskin.
If the Burberry price tag is a little too high for your designer handbag tastes then you could try the woven detailing and golden colours of the Aksuona Gold Satin and Leather Karma Woven Clutch. Team up with a mac and jeans for a glamorous take on a day time look.
At Handbags and Gladrags you will find a huge collection of designer handbags which suit any taste and any budget so you are sure to find a winner.
